Alcohol active turbo yeast is optimal for fermenting grain mashes made from barley, corn, wheat, rye, and other starchy products, but it can also be used for making rum and sugar washes. The packaging weighs 320 grams and is designed for a mash volume of 200 liters. The yeast contains enzymes to further saccharify grain mashes, which increases the yield of the finished product.

Recipe

To prepare mash from grain, start by preparing about 200 liters of pre-saccharified grain mash. Place the mash in a sanitized container with a capacity of at least 200 liters. If you want to increase the sugar content of the mash, you can add sugar or dextrose. To prepare mash from unhopped malt extract, use 9 kg of dark malt extract and 24 kg of sugar. Dissolve them in 165 liters of warm water. This should give you about 200 liters of wort. To prepare rum, use 9 kg of cane molasses and 20 kg of sugar. Dissolve them in 165 liters of water. This should give you about 200 liters of finished wort. To prepare mash from sugar, dissolve 31 kg of sugar in 165 liters of water. You should give you about 200 liters of finished wort.
