A special strain of alcohol yeast is suitable for making both sugar and grain mash from barley, corn, rye, or wheat. Its composition is ideally selected to obtain maximum results from both sugar and grain mashes.
Recipe
To prepare wort using sugar, take a container with a capacity of 28 liters or more and sterilize it. Pour 21 liters of drinking water into the container, add sugar or dextrose in the amount indicated in the table, and stir until completely dissolved. Then open the packet of yeast and pour its contents into the container. Mix thoroughly. To prepare grain mash from barley, corn, wheat, or rye, take pre-sugared and cooled to 25°C wort. You can also use unhopped malt extract in the quantities indicated in the table. Bring the total volume of wort to 25 liters. Then open the packet of yeast and pour its contents into the container. The temperature of the wort when adding yeast should not exceed 28°C. Mix thoroughly. Wait until the fermentation process stops completely. Approximate fermentation time and temperature conditions are indicated in the table. Do not place the container with the wort near a heat source to prevent overheating. Close the lid loosely to allow carbon dioxide to escape. There is no need to use a water seal.
