Alcoholic turbo yeast for making rum. The composition includes glucoamylase and other enzymes that break down dextrins for better quality and taste of the final product.
Recipe
To prepare the wort, take a container with a capacity of 28 liters or more and sterilize it. Fill the container with 21 liters of drinking water at a temperature of 35°C. Pour in 6.5 kg of molasses, or you can use molasses with added sugar/dextrose. (The total weight of sugar/dextrose and molasses should not exceed 6.5 kg.) Stir until completely dissolved in water. Bring the wort volume to 25 liters by adding water to the container. Then open the packet of yeast and pour the contents of the packet into the container. Mix thoroughly. Maintain fermentation temperature in the range of 22-28°C. Wait until the fermentation process stops completely. The approximate fermentation time and temperature conditions are shown in the table. Do not place the container with the wort near a heat source to prevent the wort from overheating. A water seal may not be used. Loosely close the lid to allow carbon dioxide to escape. The 73 g package is designed to ferment 25 liters of mash in 7 days. The alcohol content in the finished mash can reach 12% *The maximum alcohol content of the mash is 15%.
